- Identify and summarize the article,
- Respond to it, and
- Develop a Writing Response prompt that grows from your reading.
Some things to consider:
- Topic Selection: Do you want to read an article relating to something you encountered this weekend? to your MTP? or to something about which you want to learn more? The choice is yours.
- Article Selection: Do you want to make your selection from the "For Your Reading Pleasure" list, or do you want to locate an article on your own? (If you locate an interesting article that does not already appear on our list, please email the link to Tracy at tdd2@humboldt.edu so it can be added to our blog's eLibrary. Thank you.)
- Prompt Selection: As you craft this portion of WR#5, please think about prompts to which you would like to respond. The prompt does not need to rely upon the article you read--but it can. We will collect these WR prompts and use the most promising to generate school-year follow-though reflections. So make it good. No pressure.
